A question which used to be asked by many.. why feet? what is so special about feet.
Normally this question is asked by many guys like me who loves feet, why we do have this much of attraction towards feet?. I tried to analyze this since long time, but arriving at a conclusion seems difficult, but certain aspects are listed here which I am sure most of you will agree with.
The beauty of a lady lies in her physical appearance (though some disagree and argue it is in her intelligence, thought etc.., which I am not debating on). It is of course her appearance that turns the heads around at first instance and the remaining factors follow as one tries to know her more.
Physical attraction - how and what?. The overall look, the way she dresses, the way she walks, the way she makes eye contact, her body language, her overall charm, gracefulness etc. This list is the preliminary one which are benchmarks for a lady to be in limelight.
The second phase - bodily beauty.. Let us consider only the bodily aspects which attract a man to a woman. There can be thousands of different views.. Few in the list.. The figure (measurements which needs not to be described here). The proportion which each man have in this varies. There are many who likes very slim, thin ladies while other hand ones who love "big" women. There are some who are attracted by their hair, some by lips, some by hands etc...
Let us come to the first question - why feet.. For a feet lover like me feet is the most exposed part of the body which is most visible (leave the ones in shoes).
Hiding feet from public glare is difficult (unless wearing a pair of socks).
They can be seen from any side (from her front, back, sides) and no need to go around to get a glimpse of feet.
The sensuality of the human stride owes its sensual character to the foot.
The foot posses the power of "podolinguistics" or foot language which is an innate ability to communicate feelings, attitudes and desire (think of a lady who sits crossed legged and dangles the shoes or the way the feet speaks while sexually excited or during intercourse).
The foot has sex attractive features - its contours and sinuous movements, its arch, insteps, ankle, toes, toe nails, the colour, texture all which contributes to the sexual power of feet.
The universal human desire to dress the foot in sex attractive ways with shoes and other ornamentation is further evidence of the foot's natural erotogenic character (Why do women chose footwear which are looking good for her feet?, if it is only for comfort then all would have gone for some soft rubber thongs). Even ladies love to have more pairs of footwear which again is a proof that there is "something" in the feet thing..

That sounds true for most part of it. But I think feet constitute very little part of he sensuality of human stride. Its only in the psychology of a foot fetishists that they give so much attention to feet.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree to you totally Nitin. My opinion is that the increased awareness among women in maintaining their body attractive, including feet have contributed in getting feet this much attention. This in turn have indirectly given chance to have an increased level of foot fetishm. Think of ladies who owns dozens of different sandals and who are very choosy of which pair to wear for particular dress. Could we be able to think of this 20 years back in India?. But now that is nothing which is very rare..
